Passenger Door Light
Ever have a passenger unfamiliar with your car fumble aroud for the door handle at night? That's what this little number is designed to fix.
I found these cool little incandesent light bulbs at my local electronic supply store for $0.60 each. They're tiny. Just the right thing for spot lighting hidden controls on your car. Assuming that I can get a proper housing, I'll do this again for the power window switches.

It just so happens that a 1/8 inch hole is just big enough to hold one of these lights tightly enough to stay put. I drilled such a hole in the top of the door handle cup so the bulb itself wouldn't be visible to the passengers, only the light it puts out.
So that the handle cup can be removed when taking the door apart in the future, I wired it up with quick-disconnect do-dads.

I wired it to the ashtray light. It comes on with the headlights.
Here is roughly what the passenger see's at night.
