Grassroots Motorsports $2008 Challenge What? Auto racing is expensive. But Grassroots Motorsports has come up with a way to get some real competition under your belt for just $2008! The rules are simple, just spend $2008 on a car that can drag race, autocross and be concours judged. Then show up in Florida (and register ahead of time of course). Didn't make it or didn't win? Try again next year when the budget will be $2009. The Car After exploring a few cars we still haven't found a suitable car quite yet. We've looked at many Merkurs, Mustanges, Volvos, Toyotas and Jaguars. If we don't get it soon we may just hold on for 2009.
